A recent trip out in search of a regularly reported Shorelark on the North Wales coast was one of my less productive days, after 4 hours there was no sign of the Lark which was probably hiding in the dunes from the minus 2 degree wind. In fact there wasn't much about at all, just a Bar-tailed Godwit flying past.
