Photo of the Day - Male Whinchat

Taken today. A frustrating day with my target species being rather elusive. This male Whinchat was a bonus and posed for about five minutes, letting me move in closer and get a clear background.

    A lovely Whinchat, beautifully photographed.
    I have to wait a few more time for them, until their migratory passage.
