Another trip out last week for a targeted species found me photographing Reed Buntings. These weren't the intended birds I was hoping to photograph, but always good to do.
A few shots from a recent session with Reed Buntings. These males are looking really smart at this time of year in their breeding plumage. I noticed that they have unusual feet, almost like fingers, this must be for them to grip the reed stems more easily.
I have created this blog to compliment my main website, it will enable me to show more of my images and give a little bit of an insight into my work. I hope you enjoy.
I am a full time wildlife photographer based in North West England. I concentrate mainly on bird photography and use Canon equipment. All my work is available for sale, see my main website for details or contact me below.
