Harlequin Ducks from Iceland

I'm still fighting a losing battle with my backlog of images, but aim to have a real push at clearing a good chunk of them throughout the winter. Hopefully, plenty of blog posts will follow over the next few months.
I start with a few of the 44 Harlequin Duck images I have added to my site. These were taken in Iceland last year. This is one of the main species that birders go to Iceland to see. They spend the summer on fast flowing rivers which makes them tricky, but fun to photograph. Especially when they disappear in the rapids to come up 50m or more downstream.
